I think you'll find the tale riveting and comparable to that of the gods of your world. There should be plenty of cultural differences and parallels that could occupy your mind for hours.

[All of that can be further discussed over their meal. The waiter is called over and Amelia puts in their order. There's the biryani, chicken tikka masala, freshly baked naan, vegetable samosas... It's all fresh and delicious, made even better with each other's company.

Amelia is just notably smiling a lot more and less reluctantly around Gale, paying no mind to anyone else in the restaurant. Normally, she'd feel silly for letting her tough facade drop so easily, but it's been a more than a month now. Everything feels right with Gale or if not that, at least it's unmistakably good.

Dessert is a classic mango lassi and feeling satisfied, Amelia leans back in her seat with her cup in her lap.
